Vonexus

What is it?

Vonexus was the “2005 Product of the Year” according to INTERNET TELEPHONY Magazine. A subsidiary of Interactive Intelligence (Nasdaq: ININ), a long time large enterprise call center provider, Vonexus was created to meet the demand for IP telephony and SIP-supported VoIP at the small and mid-sized enterprise level. The 100% Microsoft based solution offers integration with existing data bases and business applications that can not be duplicated. The Outlook integration piece is so tight you can hardly tell where Outlook ends and Vonexus begins.

The Enterprise Interaction Center (EIC) IP PBX communications system is the backbone of this open standards approach to IP telephony. Battle tested in enterprises and contact centers since 1994. Leveraging the adaptability of Microsoft .NET strategy the EIC will lower overall telecommunications costs, increase productivity, and provide exceptional end-to-end service.

Live Communications Server integration is the methodology used on the Microsoft Campus for some 11,000 users. According to Microsoft CIO Ron Markezich, “they have had great success” with “the IP PBX by Interactive Intelligence ”.
